Australian Training School Pty Ltd is a registered training organisation providing nationally accredited training in Certificate IV in Small Business Management for eligible job seekers approved under the New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS). Our trainers have extensive experience in working with small business and those commencing business ensuring students are provided with real world expertise to help them on their way.

What is the New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS)?

The New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS) can help jobseekers become self-sufficient and independent by establishing a new small business. NEIS can provide training in small business management, business skills and business plan development. If approved, participants may also be eligible for NEIS Allowance for up to 52 weeks, NEIS Rental Assistance for up to 26 weeks and business advice and mentoring support for the first year of operation.

Who can participate?

To participate in NEIS you must be either:

- Registered as eligible for the full range of Job Network services and:

Ø at least 18 years at the time of signing a NEIS Participant Agreement

Ø receiving an allowance specified by the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) as NEIS eligible.

OR

- A mature age job seeker not on income support who is registered for JobSearch Support only:

Ø aged 50 years or over at the time of signing a NEIS Participant Agreement

Ø with the capacity to be financially self-sufficient while undertaking training and NEIS assistance

OR

- Eligible to participate in NEIS under an Australian Government Labour Adjustment Package.

Our Training Courses

Certificate IV in Small Business Management

Who should do the course: This course is suited to those who wish to develop the skills necessary to operate or manage a small business. The course content covers business planning, finance and marketing of a small business and other skills necessary to maximise the prospects of running a successful small business.

Prerequisites

A year 10 equivalent level of written and spoken English and numeracy and basic keyboarding skills is required for successful completion of the Business Management course Brisbane. Should a client be identified as experiencing difficulties with these skills, then Australian Training School will provide information and guidance to the client regarding measures to gain these skills to successfully complete the course Brisbane.

We have a flexible learning approach to all of our courses. Our courses can be completed by combination of face to face and distance mode or by distance mode alone.
